When we process your data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We process personal data when you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>visit our website (server log files, cookies and analytics),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>send us a message through the contact form or by email,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>book a meeting through our online scheduling link,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>subscribe to our newsletter,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>interact with us on social media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We only process what we need, and we keep it only as long as necessary for the purpose or as required by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Hosting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Brunng\u00e4sslein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland. The data is stored on servers in Switzerland. cyon processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Server log files<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you open our website, your browser automatically sends data that we store in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. We use this data to keep the site secure and stable and to analyse and fix technical problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website. Log data is deleted after 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Cookies and consent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use cookies and similar technologies to run the website and, with your consent, for analytics and marketing. Strictly necessary cookies keep core functions working and do not require consent. All other cookies (analytics, marketing, session analysis) are only set after you agree through our consent banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the consent settings on our website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Analytics, marketing and tracking tools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use the following services. Where a tool transfers data to providers outside Switzerland and the EEA (in particular to the USA), that transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards, or by an adequacy decision where one applies. These tools are only active after you give consent through the cookie banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Purpose: to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Tag Manager manages the tags that load these services. We use GA4 with anonym IPs and do not use the data to identify you personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Google Ads<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Purpose: conversion tracking and remarketing, so we can measure the success of our campaigns and show relevant ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Google Search Console \/ Site Kit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Purpose: to measure how the site performs in Google search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meta Pixel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. Purpose: to measure and optimise our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to reach relevant audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TikTok Pixel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited \/ TikTok Technology Limited, Dublin, Ireland. Purpose: to measure and optimise our advertising on TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microsoft Clarity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland. Purpose: to understand how people use our site through aggregated, anonymised session statistics and heatmaps (for example which areas get attention and where issues occur). Clarity helps us improve usability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Brevo (newsletter)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France. Purpose: to send our newsletter and measure whether emails are opened and links are clicked, so we can make our content more relevant. We process your email address and any details you give us when you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every newsletter. The legal basis is your consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fastbase<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Provider: Fastbase Inc. [legal entity and address to confirm with our expert]. Purpose: to recognise business visitors to our website and enrich our web analytics, so we can see which companies show interest and follow up. Fastbase works alongside Google Analytics. The legal basis is your consent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Contact form and email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you contact us through the form or by email, we process the data you give us (name, email address, your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding. We keep this correspondence as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal retention duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our contact form is built with FluentForm and runs on our own website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Online booking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can book a meeting with us through our scheduling link (Google Calendar appointment scheduling, Google Ireland Limited). When you book, you share your name, email address and the details you enter. We use this only to arrange and hold the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Social media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We link to our profiles on Instagram and LinkedIn. When you click through, the platform&#8217;s own privacy policy applies. Opening our website does not transfer data to these platforms; that only happens when you visit the platforms themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Transfers abroad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the providers above process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular in the USA. In those cases we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, an adequacy decision of the Swiss Federal Council where one exists, or your explicit consent. You can ask us for more detail at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. How long we keep data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the revFADP and, where it applies, the GDPR, you have the right to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ask whether we process data about you and request a copy,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have inaccurate data corrected,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have data deleted,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>restrict or object to processing,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receive your data in a portable format,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To exercise any of these, write to hello@pixels.ch.
